This section produces forest and other forest related maps, most of them are digitized. Detailed forest maps are also produced for different organizations on their request.

Specific Objective:
To prepare the recent Forest Cover Map of Saptari District showing various forest types, stand size and density
Human Resource
Cartography Officer (GO II) heads the section. Other staff include one Assistant Cartography Officer (GO III), two Draftsmen (NG I) and two Cartographers (NG I)
